WIRTHWEIN Travel‘s origins lie in the travel department of a medium sized, family-owned and managed company. Today, WIRTHWEIN Travel carries out travel management for a multitude of small and medium sized companies in Germany and overseas.
Focusing on the demands of business travelers from A to Z, WIRTHWEIN Travel optimizes trips to achieve the maximum levels of expedience and convenience, while causing the least possible cost and always adhering to prevailing travel policies.
From designing a travel policy, over researching and booking travel, to invoicing and reporting, WIRTHWEIN Travel organizes the entire process to fulfill its customers’ requirements. By bundling purchasing volume across all customers, lower prices can be achieved, which are passed on to customers.
Our Services
Travel Management
For many small and medium sized companies, supporting their own travel departments is not feasible, yet the need exists to manage a significant volume of business travel. This is where WIRTHWEIN Travel comes in: we help designing a framework for travel in the shape of a travel policy, book trips, support travelers before, after and during their trips, and constantly monitor adherence to travel policies. During the entire process, we act more as if we were a part of our customers’ organizations than an anonymous, external service provider.
Booking
From A to Z, that is from a traveler’s home or office to their destination, we can book all required travel services. Flights, transfers, train tickets, hotels, rental cars, and so on - all parts of a trip are optimized and booked to create the maximum levels of expedience and convenience, while keeping costs low. To achieve the best possible solutions, we use both classic travel agent tools as well as the resources of the internet, combined with our experience and personal contact to travelers.
Purchasing
Together we can accomplish more. By bundling the purchasing volume across all of our customers and through relationships with service providers, we can achieve prices and conditions that benefit every single customer.
Accounting and Reporting
Each trip consists of a multitude of smaller, individual travel services that service providers invoice separately. This creates a lot of work not only in accounting, but also in analysis and reporting. We as WIRTHWEIN Travel take this off our customers’ shoulders by having all invoicing channeled through us. As a result, travelers no longer need to advance oftentimes significant amounts of money and we create consolidated invoices for our customers. Augmented by further data provided by our customers, for example project number, cost center or arranging assistant, accounting and reporting can be performed with little effort.

Your tasks

Planning and booking business trips for our clients in Germany and overseas under strict adherence to our clients' travel policies

Evaluating different trip options under the conditions of cost, time and organizational requirements

Consulting and supporting our clients all over the world with regarding to their business trips

Creating travel offers

Booking, rebooking and cancelling travel services incl. flights, train tickets, hotels, rental cars, transfers, etc.

Recording all booked services in our trip management tool

Occasional booking of personal travel for our corporate clients
Your profile
-
Multi-year experience in the travel management department of a company or in an agency focusing on business travel
-
Completed relevant training or a college degree in tourism or travel management are advantageous
-
Solid knowledge of Amadeus (ticketing not required)

Knowledge of and experience with internet booking engines

Good knowledge of German and English language

Quick grasp of complex travel processes

Talent for effective client interaction and organizing complicated trips
